Absolutely recommend! I had delicious cold soba noodles and a nice talk with the locals there. The staff is very friendly as well.

Nice little spot, mainly local people eating, very kind waiters. The soba are good, I had the cold one just with seaweed and I liked them, although it seemed like the portion was a little small for the price.

Fresh soba noodles! I went for lunch and was the only tourist. A half block off the main drag, it almost looked closed from outside (and absent English signage). I ordered hot soba with mushrooms, which wasn’t on the english menu but the young business man across from me was eating it so I pointed and asked.

Super friendly and cosy restaurant. Definitely a must go place in Tokyo. Soba couldn’t be better. I ordered cold soba and duck, and I highly recommend it. Don’t remember when was the last time I have tried tasty duck like this before. They do have English menu and my server could communicate in english perfectly. I was alone and I didn’t feel lonely at all. It’s also a wonderful place for groups of around 5-6 people.

The food was fantastic. My partner and I loved it. We had the tempura soba whuc came with very large ebi (prawns). We also tried the yakitori and the sesame Soba dipping sauce which was sensational. I also had a great time watching anither foreigner eat soba for the first time and he had no idea what to do with the dipping sauce and poured it on top. The look on the Japanese guys face next to him was hilarious! If you want some traditional style soba and don't mind paying a bit extra then this is the spot.

Beautiful! The interior, the outside and the soba noodle are simply beautiful. You feel you time traveled to the 60s when you enter the store. Soba noodle is extremely refreshing and tasty. Tempura is perfectly cooked and delicious

Watch them prepare soba before your eyes here. It's got over a 100 years of history after all.

This place was amazing. Ran by such cute and caring ladies. They have English menu. I had soba with sesame sauce AND one side which was herring.. maybe baked. Oh my gosh. Both dishes were so so good. Herring blew me away, it was smoked sweet and salty and just very original. Soba were light and delicious and that sesame sauce.. just wow, it had peanut sauce in it too. I would go here everyday if my airbnb was closer. Highly recommend!!

One of the best Soba-ya experience in Tokyo. You can eat Soba (of course!), donburi (rice bowl), Japanese sake and variety of appetizers. It's not so tourist crowded, locals favorite place. If you're interested in more authentic and traditional soba, this is not the place you're looking for. It's just a everyday life of Japanese.

This was the last place we ate in Tokyo before heading back home. What a cool experience. It's a little tight seating but that makes it more quaint and intimate. The noodles are made fresh, and in site of the patrons. Everything was amazing and I can't wait to come back and eat here again.

Possibly the best soba noodles I’ve had in my life! The sauce was amazing and when you’re finished the staff come and top the remaining sauce up with a broth so that you can drink it like soup. Well worth the visit!

Terrific soba and tempura, friendly staff, tasteful traditional decor, and reasonably priced-- for dishes that are plainly made by people who care about quality. Cleanse yourself of plastic modernity of nearby Akihabara with an authentic quality experience. You may want to order extra noodles for dipping if you are gluttonous or ravenous. They have English menus and brought them without us even asking. Lots of locals, so I hope any American visitors have learned a bit of Japanese etiquette to be good guests.

A great little spot for dinner that was convenient to our Kanda based hotel. Fast service and friendly staff who knew enough English to make up for my poor Japanese. Loads of locals, many of whom were already deep in their cups by 5PM when we arrived. Worth a visit.

Delicious! I got the cold duck soba, and they were delicious. The noodles had just the right amount of chewiness, and the meat had such an intense flavor. Definitely worth a visit.

Best noodles in Tokyo. I was here in 2014 and this noodle shop had the best Ramen and tempura shrimp’s that I have to tasted it. The owner was so friendly and kind as well as all the employees working there. It’s a small place however the quality of the food it’s amazing. If you see it on the right hand side you can see how they’re making the noodles by hand. Definitely consider stopping here if you are in the area, you will not regret it. Lastly, the prices are not that bad! A nice meal will cost you about 9 USD.

Nice little Soba bar. The staff speaks a few words of English and they also have an english written menu. They gave us some helpful hints on the menu and how to eat the different dishes. Very helpful. It is a small and cozy place and was quite crowded when we were there.

Dishes I had:Tamagogitchi Grill Chicken with Soy SauceThe noodles are very fresh and springy, and you can really taste the sweetness of the noodles. The soup isn't too sweet and the flavours are very well balanced. The egg brings the flavours to another level. The chicken is tender and the sauce isn't too overpowering.A little pricey (aren't all japanese place) but the atmosphere is comfortable and very authentic, there service staff is very friendly and efficient. My friends tried the cold noodles and the sauce is well balanced and brings out the taste of the noodles very well.A must taste when you are in the area of Akihabara.

Soba noodle restaurant, serving variations of Soba, with or without soup. You can also get a limited selection of Tempura, there is also tea and sake. It’s a popular place so be prepared to queue at busy times.

Visited here last week with my Japanese friends, they said this is one of the best places to try the real soba in Tokyo. It didn’t let me know at all, in contrast it impresses me with its beauty of simpleness. Brilliant!

Nice atmosphere! I personally prefer my soba with a higher buckwheat ratio (darker noodles) than they do here but it was alright. Not as good as some other high rated places in my opinion.

We found this place by accident and I'm glad we did. The decoration is so Zen and local, there are almost no tourist here. The texture of Soba and the technique of tempura is not like the one I'd before. The staff can speak a little bit English but they are so helpful and nice. If you are in this areas, I really recommend to try this place.
